Tanya’s experience
Tanya is a Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience in both private practice and psychological research. She holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of New England and a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from the University of Newcastle. Her doctoral research explored trauma and its psychological effects, deepening her understanding of how past experiences shape emotional and mental well-being.
Tanya’s therapy model
With a compassionate and evidence-based approach, Tanya works collaboratively with her clients to address mental health challenges, helping them regain control over their lives and reduce the emotional burden of stressors. She is trained in EMDR, an effective approach for processing traumatic memories and reducing their emotional impact. Tanya is experienced with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
